Veritas Downunder Tour Australia – June 2016

FULLY BOOKED! Saturday 11th June 9.00am – Handsome & Co, 19 Lincoln Street, Richmond.

Public demonstration at Handsome & Co on the 11th of June at 9am.

Veritas, Canada’s leading woodworking tool maker, is on its way Downunder this coming June.

Vic Tesolin – Veritas expert and author of the ‘Minimalist Woodworker’ and Wally Wilson – Lee Valley senior manager, are visiting Australia for a two week all things Veritas demonstration tour.

This tour allows the Australian woodworker to come and see how Veritas design and manufacture their range of innovative hand tools and understand why Veritas has become such a well-loved global brand. We will watch Vic conduct a comprehensive hand tool demonstration featuring a range of Veritas’s premium products including marking out tools, hand saws, bench planes, chisels, the MKII honing guide and the new, soon to be released range of Veritas Custom Hand planes. We can discuss the differences between products and learn how to choose the best tool. These events are free and conclude with a Q&A session and refreshments.

The Veritas demonstration is not a hard product sell, rather a presentation that covers the following points:

  • How Veritas designs and manufactures is tools
  • The differences between different tools and their applications
  • How to choose the right tool for you and your project
  • How to use woodworking tools correctly

Tour Sponsors – Veritas Tools and Maxis Distribution are providing an opportunity to purchase Veritas products and win Veritas prizes at each demonstration.
